Objectives
The concrete aims and objectives of the project are:
- To improve the learning to learn skill in adult learners from socio culturally disadvantaged sectors.
- To improve the educator’s skill to develop the learning to learn competence in learners.
- To develop Key Competence learning to learn by means of a suitable methodology–Portfolio- which promotes the learner’s autonomy and responsibility, both to assess what he knows and to decide what and how to learn next, and that helps the educator to evaluate, plan and program; to describe the learning to learn key competence: identifying sub competences, elaborating descriptors, levels.
- To design and validate a useful procedure to measure a learner or group of learners’ level of learning to learn competence: a questionnaire and a model interview, a computer application.
- To analyze the main learning styles and provide an inventory of strategies for each style to find out how every learner prefers to learn, what strategies he intuitively uses, and how he can transfer, strengthen and complete them; elaborating with this a computer tool to find out each person’s learning style.
- To make activities that exemplify tasks that can be developed using the Portfolio as an evaluation, planning and training tool.
- To disseminate the project’s outputs to organizations and institutions with similar target groups and ensure implementation and use of outputs by means of specific actions; bring the outputs within the reach of the general public.
