SKILLS, Several Keys In Learning to Learn Skills.

The Prophylactic - Educational Society „Fenix”) is a non - profit organization from 1997 that is engaged in substance abuse treatment for children and adolescents, non-violence activity and generally saying resocialization and education of young people. We are interested in the youth that is at risk of social exclusion and marginalization. We cooperate with Lower Secondary School (gymnasium)  for dropouts – young adults and realize for them educational programs and also non-violence workshops. The objective of our activity is the promotion of employment and social integration of young people who have not completed compulsory education and do not possess the necessary skills and qualifications to enter the labour market. We are seeking the best possibilities and methods to enable our learners to obtain the compulsory school leaving certificate at the end of their cycle. We follow educational approaches that focus on individual needs, interests and abilities of the students, emphasize the acquisition of basic skills (writing, reading, calculating) but also new skills required in today’s society (use of second language and new technologies) an also cultivate social skills and help the students develop positive social attitudes as active citizens in the local and broader social environment.
