The main objective of the partnership is to promote and foment healthy
nutrition habits among the participants, as well as to deepen in the study
of nutrition and eating habits as one of the most important ways for the
maintenance and improvement of life quality.
Through the study and exchange of experiences and knowledge among the participants,
the learning partnership intends to achieve the following objectives:
To achieve these objectives, the learning partnership will develop the workshop “As you like it!”, which will finish with the elaboration of a healthy recipe cooking booklet. The dissemination of the project will be carried out through a round table talk, as well as the distribution of the booklet and food-catalogue.

ALCER Ebro is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 with the aim of
contributing with moral and physical support to all persons who suffer from
kidney illnesses, as well as working on the prevention and fight against
these illnesses through all the needed activities. Thus, the organization
carries out different activities and actions outlining: educational activities,
self-help groups, cultural and leisure activities, workshops, campaigns
to raise public awareness about the illness, etc...

European Pole of Knowledge is a network of schools, associations and institutions
– hosted by Scuola Media Statale “A. Manzoni” –
and supported by the Regional Council, which is working for the European
social integration. Its main field of activity, with its 120 schools and
associations at Regional level, is to promote the European dimension and
integration through European and extra - European workshops, seminars, conferences,
partnerships and projects. The European Pole of Knowledge has two main offices:
one providing information – help desk for schools and associations,
the second for planning "umbrella" activities" involving
the greatest possible number of schools and institutions in the consortium.
The European Pole of Knowledge works in every field of education, from ITC
to in-service training courses for teachers, from Kindergartens to adult
education in prisons and rural areas. It works mainly on social exclusion,
fighting against xenophobia and racism, intercultural learning and youth
workers' training projects. It is also the Italian Coordinator of a European
Network NIMEE, created after a previous Comenius II project.

The Third Age University in Kraków is an intercollegiate department
of studies, whose aim is to popularize humanities and biomedical sciences
among the elderly. Founded in 1982 by the resolution of the Senates of the
Jagiellonian University and the then Medical Academy, the Third Age University
undertakes various activities in the field of gerontological preventative
treatment.
The University is created by joint efforts of its students, helped by the
Program Board - it is them who have influence on its character and on admission
of new students who declare willingness to work actively and to accept the
standards worked out by groups of students in the course of over twenty
years. The program of studies comprises lectures on humanities and biomedical
subjects.
The Third Age University in Kraków, by carrying out its program of
lectures and seminars as well as community work, aims not only at popularizing
learning, but also at educating in a broader sense of the word: organizing
conferences and symposia, preparing bulletins and publications.
