The general objective is to map out required skills of a teacher, innovative teaching methods in adult education concerning existing learners and cooperation with our partners in the field of intercultural adult education. To develop specific teaching methods for individual use in the participating countries. The results achieved have been published in a “Guide of Intercultural Adult Education” in English.
Specific objectives
The project deals with skill innovation of teaching methods in intercultural adult education.
It is evident that in our society there is a constantly growing number of people who need intercultural education. However, obstacles also exist. Demands on specific knowledge and skills increase constantly. Also teachers can become agents of change promoting intercultural education at local level.
Individual countries have different experiences. Therefore we have created the partnership and we want to deal with these problems. Duration of project is two years. The target groups are teachers/trainers in the further education as well as informal education of adults and youth.
The main activities have been: analysis and data processing, information exchange, discussions, workshops. The output of the project is a summary of the required skills and mapping out the possibility of teacher’s cooperation.
The asset of the project is to make responses to contemporary intercultural educational needs more flexible, recognition of target group needs and role specification of teachers.
The main objective of Department is economist student and teacher training in psychology, sciences of education and educational management. Department has a large offer: for the economist students’ - basic skills and high-level education for the teachers.
Main activities undertaken by our organization are:
Dock europe education – consulting – mediation promotes education in a European dimension. In our team we are bringing together long lasting experiences in the field of socio-political and professional education as well as know how in the field of linguistic mediation, intercultural learning and social work in a European context.
Dock europe is primarily focussing on further education and mediations in the area of European cooperation and intercultural trainings for staff and disseminators who are active in the educational or social work.
Within a local and a European network we are continuously enhancing educational offers for disadvantaged target groups, following an integrative approach and taking particularly in consideration informal situations of learning.
FAEA is a non profit - State ambit - Social initiative organization dedicated to promote a critical, open and participative model of adult education. Operation principles: To respect the autonomy of each one of the 55 entities that form FAEA; to take strategic decisions in a participative way; Technical staff to advise and to coordinate the combined actions.
(1) to create opinion through the analysis of educational and social politics and the dissemination of information and documentation about adult learning in the framework of interculturality.
(2) To innovate through: the realization of projects and investigation actions; the development of didactic materials and the development of learning strategies adapted the necessities of each entity and its professionals.
(3) To give services of quality and organizational consultantship for the professional change, guided to the associations in such questions as planning, management, projects, evaluation and technical support.
