The Spanish course has been designed for different publics who share a common feature, that is, their relation to social diversity: educators, social workers, public services workers, social agents, social organisations or associations, etc.; and their relation to men and women, adult and young populations, ethnic minorities, different cultures, different languages, etc.; The final didactic material must then deal with diversity from different perspectives.
The course intends to enable learners to teach other future learners what they have learnt, to implement and supervise policies of Equal opportunities in different labour fields and to interact with people in a tolerant way, overcoming, then, their own prejudices, stereotypes and discriminating attitudes. For that purpose, the didactic material deals with teaching methodologies, specific contents and settles its basis on social and affective strategies.
The Spanish partner has established that the didactic material should be the basis for a future course, be transferable to other contexts and different publics, and allow individuals and groups to use it in an autonomous way. For that purpose, the material will be published on a CD-ROM. The CD-ROM structure will allow the material to be autonomous, comprehensive and versatile. It will also allow the project partners to work with just one product in a coordinated and autonomous way.
For that purpose, we have designed a modular structure with different thematic parts. The modules and thematic parts are completely intertwined and autonomous at the same time. Each one of them is a full proposal itself. These structural features help the material be adaptable and transferable. They also allow the material to be used as a continuous proposal or in separate parts. The material is, basically, a resource of resources.
