“Natural and rural environment improvement thorough Adult Education” “N&R PROJECT”

Summary of the project:
Synopsis of the Project
The project tries to encourage the participants of urban centres to preserve their natural and rural environments through the knowledge and understanding of the zone. The exchange among its members will permit to compare the ecosystems of the zones under study, discovering the differences among them (geographical, climatic, economical, social, etc.).
To be developed through 3 complementary seminars:
"The natural environment in ..."
Here we will study the concepts, procedures, and activities related to the
environment and we will elaborate a guide of the natural environment of
the chosen zone.
"Organize a route"
Starting with a map of the zone under study, we will select a hiking route
and we will create all the signs to mark the way so that the hikers can
follow it without getting lost, indicating on the map where the signs will
be placed.
"Trip to..." Signs will be placed (as explained above) along the
route to be followed.
A photographic journal will follow to provide an exchange among the members.
An exhibition and discussion group in the centres will be organized to spread
information about these activities

Objectives of the project:
- To bring the participants of urban contexts closer to the rural areas in order to learn from it and interpret it in a correct and responsible way.
- To establish and analyse a relation between environment and health.
- To value the need to have a healthy natural environment near the urban centres.
- To get to know the natural resources of each partner’s near rural environment.
- To become aware of the fact that it is important to preserve and foment the environment as a developing resource of the rural areas.
- To contrast the ecosystems of the studied areas in the project, analysing the differences among them (geographical, climatic, economic, social, development,).
- To design and elaborate a CD-Rom with all educational process.

- Tempo Training & Consulting, Ostrava-Zabreh, Czech Republic(CZ): Intervention for the recovery of Ostrava’s natural. Czech Republic.
